The end of 2011 was a big deal for Subaru. After posting strong sales throughout the year, December proved to be the company’s best-ever sales month with 33,701 vehicles sold. This capped off a year that also turned out to be Subaru’s best-ever, with a grand total of 266,989 units sold. Subaru is now on a four year winning streak as it has posted sales increases in each of the last four years.

The Subaru Legacy and Subaru Outback were a big part of the sales numbers for Subaru as the two models each set sales records in 2011. Legacy sales were up 9.49% and Outback sales increased 12.09% in 2011.
